Lauren S. Beresford is a senior data scientist with deep expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, and data analysis across diverse industries. At Button, she leads routing model development and heads the experimentation council. Her prior roles at Apella, Omada Health, and Mattel involved clinical outcome prediction, forecasting, and product development.

In addition to her industry work, Lauren has taught data-intensive courses on gender disparities in the workforce at UC Berkeley. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from UC Berkeley and a B.A. in Sociology from UC San Diego, blending academic rigor with applied data science.
